Welcome to Gulper.io, an online game where you compete against real players to be the largest snake on the server! Even though you start small, you can still defeat the biggest snakes ever as long as you have the skill... and make it to the top of the leaderboard! Hunt down other players and eat the energy to become absolutely huge and dominate against all the other players!
Gulper.io is a super easy game to learn yet it's super difficult to become the biggest snake on the server. But don't fear, it can be done... as long as you know how to play the game!
Manuver the snake by pointing your mouse in the direction you want it to go. Other players die when they ram their head into another snake. They explode into a massive amount of energy that anyone can consume to make themselves grow larger.
However, you have to be careful. Other snakes are trying to hunt you down too! Avoid bumping into another snake or else you'll explode into energy.
You can also use your speed boost by clicking and holding. This speeds up your snake, but you also lose energy, making you shrink. However, it's always worth using your speed if you find yourself in trouble!
Gulper.io may be a simple game, but that doesn't mean it's easy. To gain energy quickly, you will have to get creative with your strategy. Even though it might be tempting to take down snakes much bigger than you, they can easily turn around or kill you instead.
Instead, try focusing on smaller snakes and gradually building up size. Find a smaller snake and wrap yourself in a coil around them. This will make it so that the smaller snake is trapped and has no option but to ram into you and die!
If you do decide to lurk around the bigger snakes, be patient and wait until someone else kills them for you. Then, swoop in and steal all the energy! You'll be surprised at just how much energy the bigger snakes release when they die.
There are currently no mods available for Gulper.io. Mods became popular in .io games when Slither.io came out. Because of the way Slither.io was programmed, players were easily able to download mods and use them to cheat in Slither.io. Some of these mods included zooming mods, allowing you to zoom out and see a further distance; mods to join specific servers, so that you can play on the same server as your friends; and cosmetic mods, that allowed you to change the background, skins, and even add sound effects.
However, there are no mods for Gulper.io, and this is most likely a good thing. Many people counted zooming mods as cheating because it gave the player an unfair advantage. In Gulper.io, everyone has the same view distance and nobody has any leverage over anyone else.
