It's free burger day at Papa's Burgeria, but all goes wrong when a mysterious customer shows up and unleashes a portal! Lots of food monsters, such as burgerzillas and evil onions come out and kidnap all the customers one by one. They even kidnapped Papa Louie himself! It's up to you to go on a grand platforming adventure around the world to bring them back home.
Papa Louie 2 is a fun platformer game where the goal for each level is to make it to the end and free the trapped customer from the cage. This way, you can safely transport them back to Papa's Burgeria! Don't run into too many enemies, or you will lose your lives.
If you lose your lives, you can respawn at the last checkpoint. You start with three lives and can find additional ones scattered around the map.
By default, the control scheme uses the arrow keys to move left and right, the up arrow key to jump, and the down arrow key to crouch. Use space to attack enemies, and jump on them to stun them temporarily.
In Papa Louie games, you can change the controls through the "MENU" to whatever you want. The in-game tutorial will also guide you along the way.
At the end of each level, a kidnapped customer is waiting for you in a cage! Free this customer to bring them back safely to Papa's Burgeria. Now, when you start a new level, you can choose which customer you want to play as.
Each customer has a unique set of abilities with advantages and disadvantages. Marty and Rita both use a spatula as their weapon. Prudence, the first customer you save, uses a dog squeak toy as a weapon. Later on, you can unlock characters with cool skills and level them up with coins.
Every enemy you stomp on counts as a "baddie". You can find a collection of all the baddies you defeated in the "Baddies" collection menu, as well as how many of each you defeated. Some enemies include onions, red tomatoes, burger sliders, lettuce larks (which can fly), and burgerzillas (which take multiple hits to defeat!)
You can also complete certain objectives to unlock badges. Each of these badges gives you points and a cash reward that you can use to upgrade your customers' unique abilities.
If you enjoy the food world of Papa Louie 2, you can try working at Papa's Burgeria. In this game, you take customers' orders, cook burgers, serve drinks, and make customers as happy as possible. It might not be as wacky as Papa Louie 2: When Burgers Attack, but it's still a fun management game to test your skills!
