The first step of the journey is to choose a character: Mitch or Maggie. Afterward, choose a name and get ready to cook some tacos!
Papa's Taco Mia has three stations: the order station, grilling station, and building station. Start off by taking a customer's order at the order station. The customer will tell you what they want and it will be written down on a ticket for you to follow.
After taking an order, it's time to cook some beef at the grilling station! Drag a pan of beef to the stove until the timer ends, then use the spatula to flip it. Once the beef is done cooking, drag the beef to a corresponding taco shell and continue to the build station.
At the build station, top the taco with toppings of the customer's choice by dragging and releasing it to distribute it. Click and drag the sause bottles to begin squirting sause. Try to spread the toppings and sauce evenly across the taco for the highest score.
Once the taco is finished, press the big "FINISH" button to close the shell and serve it to the customer, who will grade the taco on a percentage system. The higher your score, the better your tip!

The first tip is to manage your time properly. As the taco restaurant fills up, more customers will arrive at once. Take multiple customers' orders simultaneously. While some tacos are cooking, you can use that to take other customers' orders or top a taco. The faster you get tacos done, the happier the customers are. This, of course, means a higher tip!
Another great tip is to use the Trash—we don't blame you if you missed it, it's a small option tucked away at the bottom right of the game screen. If you mess up a taco, it's better to restart than to keep going with the same taco. If you serve bad tacos to your customers, they won't be satisfied and will decrease the rating of the restaurant.
Papa's Taco Mia is a great restaurant game that promotes logic and time-management skills. As more customers show up, it will get more difficult to efficiently serve great tacos for all of them. This creates a fun gameplay loop that keeps the game going at a faster pace for each in-game day that passes.
Not only is Papa's Taco Mia a great game, but it is extremely satisfying to cook lots of tacos and feel like the boss of the restaurant. The only thing that holds Papa's Taco Mia back is its simplicity compared to other Papa's games. Papa's Taco Mia offers fewer cooking stations to build the taco, and lacks the fun minigames present in other Papa's games such as Papa's Hotdoggeria.
Regardless, Papa's Taco Mia is still fun to enjoy and more fast-paced than some other Papa's games.
