Start playing Snake 2048.io by choosing a nickname. Since the game features 2048 blocks, there are no skins to unlock. However, this isn't inherently a bad thing, it just means that there is more emphasis put on having fun and competing rather than grinding.
Once you join a match, it's important to get accustomed to the controls. Simply move the mouse in the direction you want to go and click and hold to use the turbo boost to outrun (or catch) your enemies!
There are cubes scattered throughout the whole playing field and to grow your 2048 snake, you must collect them. Start off at 2, and collect more 2's and 4's to begin merging your blocks into bigger blocks.
All cubes you collect will follow your head in descending order, and cubes of the same number merge into a bigger cube. You can eat cubes off of other players if the cube is smaller, but be aware that they can also eat smaller cubes off of you (this is where that boost feature comes in handy!) Keep in mind that you only die if you lose your head. It's better to keep your head safe than to defend your entire tail.
IO games are a (usually) online multiplayer web game where players compete in a Battle Royale match or a Free For All Match. Because there is no battle royale aspect of Snake 2048.io, it is a FFA game.
