Bloxorz

About this game

Welcome to Bloxorz, a challenging puzzle game to test your logic skills. In this beloved Flash game, the goal is the get the block into the square hole and avoid falling off the map.

Bloxorz: How to Play

The aim of the game is to get the block to fall into the square hole to beat the stage. There are a total of 33 stages in the game. To move the block around the world, use the arrow keys. Make sure to not fall off the edges of the map, otherwise, you'll have to restart!

Bridges and switches can be found in lots of levels. You can activate a switch by pressing them down with the block. You don't have to stay on top of switches to keep bridges closed. There are two different switch types: Heavy switches, shaped like an X, require lots of pressure, so the block must be standing on its end to activate it; and Soft switches, shaped like a circle, don't need lots of pressure, so they are activated when any part of the block presses on it.

When a switch is activated, it might behave differently from other switches. Some will snap the bridges from open to close each time they are used. Others will only make a certain bridge open and never close again. Green and red color squares will light up to indicate which bridges are operated.

Be careful with orange tiles! They are much more fragile than the rest of the land. If the block stands vertically on an orange tile, it will collapse and cause the block to fall! This means you have to restart the level.

There is also another type of switch which is shaped like a bracket. It will teleport the block to different locations, splitting it into two smaller blocks simultaneously. These blocks are controlled individually but will rejoin once they are both placed next to each other. Select which small block to control with the spacebar. Also: small blocks activate soft switches but are too light to activate heavy switches. They can't go through the exit hole either, only a full block can do that.

THIS IS IMPORTANT: If you're looking to save your progress, copy the passcode for the stage, which is located at the top right corner of the game. When you reload the game, if you enter the passcode correctly, you can skip to the stage you were on previously. If you do not do this and exit the game, it will not save the stage you are on!

Wow, that was a lot of reading! Now that you're a pro at Bloxorz, get ready to play and have fun. There are lots of fun stages to solve, although they progressively get more and more challenging. Remember, never give up and take a break if you need—just make sure to write down that passcode somewhere!
