Bloxd.io is a massive online open-world game inspired by Minecraft. It features a blocky aesthetic with pixel art blocks and geometric characters. Just like Minecraft, there are various gamemodes depending on what you're interested in! There's the sandbox creative mode, the challenging survival mode, and even minigames like parkour or DoodleCube.

Creative mode, just like Minecraft, enables users to build whatever they want without having to survive. You can fly around, get super speed, and unleash your creativity to build the most epic creations!
Survival mode is another Minecraft-like game mode. You can still build, but the main goal is to survive. Gather the resources you need to build a shelter and protect yourself from the elements, as well as staying safe from the creatures that come out at night! Or, if you prefer to play without the creatures, you can simply play the "Peaceful" game! But peaceful doesn't mean invincible, you can still fall in lava or get struck by lightning!
BloxdHop.io is a fun minigame mode where you play a competitive game with other players. Parkour your way to the end of the map as quickly as possible and hop through blocks of many sizes.
DoodleCube is a drawing minigame played competitively as well! Draw an object using just cubes based on a certain theme, and other players must vote on how closely your cube drawing represents the theme!
CubeWarfare is the perfect minigame if you love combat@ Battle against other players in the third-person view, and defend yourself by placing blocks around yourself.

When you join a game mode of Bloxd.io, you have the option of joining a public server or a private server, where you can invite friends to play with you. Please note that in public servers, players can interect via an in-game chat.
Once you make your way through the menus and into a game mode, it's important to know the controls to ensure a successful game. Use the WASD keys to move, and use shift to sprint. Crouch using C, Z, \, or the capslock key. Place a block with the right mouse button and destroy a block with the left mouse button. Switch blocks by scrolling the middle mouse button or pressing the number keys to the assigned block. Use the B key to open the shop menu, and press enter to start chatting.
There are also commands that can be entered in the chat. Use "/rtv" to vote to skip a map. See your XP with "/xp" and see how much time you spend playing with "/playing". Use "/players to see a list of players in your lobby. Use "/nobuffs" to play through the map while disabling all buffs, which places you on a sepearate leaderboard.
Because there are so many different gamemodes in Bloxd.io, it's difficult to recommend a single different game. If you enjoy combat mode, you could try out Ev.io, an online first-person shooter. If you love parkour, you can check out platformer games such as Vex 8 (even though it's 2D.) If you just love competition you can play other .io games such as SmashKarts.io or Shell Shockers.io!
