How to Play Friday Night Funkin'

Friday Night Funkin' is a rhythm game where you need to press the arrow keys in sync with the music and time everything just right! On the left side of the screen is your opponent, and on the right side of the screen is you. On your side, arrows will appear and float upward. When they align with the arrows on the top of the screen, you must press the corresponding arrow key on your keyboard.

If you need a hand getting started, the in-game tutorial will give you a rundown on how everything works. Once you're ready, you can jump right into Story Mode of Free Play mode. Friday Night Funkin' let's you adjust the difficulty you want to play at. We recommend starting on easy and slowly working your way up as you get more confident in your skills.

While the first couple of songs in Friday Night Funkin' start off fairly easy, you'll find they slowly get harder and harder, to the point of almost becoming impossible.
