Abra Cadabra, Om Nom is finally back in his latest and greatest sequel: Cut the Rope: Magic! This time, Om Nom is out of his box and exploring strange new worlds from fairy tales! Transform Om Nom into awesome new creatures such as dragons and spirits to help him recover his lost candy!
This time, his candy has been stolen by none other than an evil wizard! Leap into a magic book and adventure through over 160 levels through SIX different chapters! Cut the Rope Magic features gorgeous new graphics and colorful, magical worlds!
Cut the Rope: Magic plays similarly to its predecessors. While the game is easy to learn, it can quickly get mind-boggling as you work to solve the puzzles and feed Om Nom the candy. Speaking of which, how do you get Om Nom his candy?
In Cut the Rope games, candy is tied up to a bunch of ropes, and you must cut the ropes to make the candy fall into Om Nom's big mouth. To cut the ropes, simply swipe (or click and drag) across them. If you're able to feed Om Nom, you're ready to move on to the next level. If the candy somehow falls of the platforms... be prepared for a very, very sad Om Nom.
Collect all three stars in each level to challenge yourself. These stars are in tricky places, so they will require some out of the box thinking to obtain. You can collect a star by having either Om Nom touch it or the candy touch it.
In the level, there are many different elements to interact with, such as air cushions which either blow Om Nom or the candy. In this game, Om Nom can transform into different creatures that will help aid him in completing the level. Simply tap (or click) Om Nom to perform a spell and transform him! The in-game tutorial will give you a run down on all of Om Nom's different transformations.
Every so often, you will stumble across a boss level with the evil wizard. This wizard will use his telekinesis to bring the candy toward him, so you will have to think fast to make sure he doesn't steal the candy from Om Nom!
As Om Nom leaps into a fairy tale, he gains magic powers that transform him into adorable different creatures! These different forms have individual powers to help Om Nom beat the level. Some of his magical transformations include:
- BIRD FORM: Om Nom transforms into a cute yellow bird! This allows him to fly above obstacles and access areas that he previously couldn't.
- BABY FORM: If Om Nom wasn't adorable enough, here's Baby Om Nom to make you squeal with delight! Baby Om Nom can shrink down and squeeze into tight areas.
- FISH FORM: Gurgle gurgle, Om Nom can transform into fish to help him dive deep underwater to retrieve his beloved candy.
- MOUSE FORM: The mouse form gives Om Nom's nose an upgrade, allowing him to sniff out the candy and follow it!
- SPIRIT FORM: Turn Om Nom into a spooky (yet friendly) ghost to make sure he can get past anything.
- DRAGON FORM: Isn't this the coolest thing ever? Om Nom can transform into a wicket, fire-breathing dragon! Om Nom can summon a massive sneeze that sends everything flying away!
Om Nom is an adorable green creature that made his debut in the original Cut the Rope game. He shows up at your doorstep in a box and has only one request: CANDY!
