In runaway toad, the objective is to get as far as possible before falling prey to one of the hazards. In order to safely get from platform to platform, you must tap or click the screen and hold. The longer you hold, the further you aim. Use your judgement to find the right distance between each of the platforms.
If you click or tap the screen, you perform a short little hop. Decide how you want to hop to help strategize to survive as long as possible.
The toad also flicks its toung out in the direction that you swipe. Swipe toward the flies to catch them. You can even catch flies mid-air! Performing this trick is very easy. As you jump, quickly swipe toward the fly when you are near it. This way you will catch it in your mouth!
Careful! There are all sorts of traps and hazards that prevent the toad from progressing! If you miscalculate your jumps, you'll fall right in the water and a bird will fly by and sweep your toad right up.
