Vex games are all about speed, precision, and skill. By mastering these qualities, you will no doubt become a master of Vex. However, it will take lots of practice and repetition, so if you're up for the challenge, here's how to play:
Vex 3 XMas controls exactly like Vex 3 and other Vex games. In Vex games, you control the character through a series of levels (or Acts, as called in-game.) Move using WASD or the arrow keys. The "S" key or down arrow key performs a slide so you can get through tight spaces. Wall jump to climb up large walls.
Another key to success is mastering swimming, one of the most challenging parts of the games. When swimming, use the up arrow key or W to swim the way you're facing. Hold the down arrow key or S to swim backward. To change your direction, rotate using either the left and right arrow keys or the A and D keys.
Beating Vex 3 XMas will be no easy feat. There are lots of acts to play through, each getting slightly more challenging than the previous. Complete these acts all the way up to Vexation and you will have finished the main acts of the game.
But the challenge doesn't end there! There are many achievements to unlock, some of which are very difficult and will require some extreme precision and careful planning. Not only that but there are also hardcore acts, which are harder versions of the standard acts. Even when you beat all these, there's also "Vexation", the final and most difficult challenge! If you don't think that you can master all of these, don't worry. The most important part of playing Vex is to make sure you have fun. Generally, you want to play acts that are slightly above your skill level so that they're not too difficult but not extremely easy and boring either. And if you are ever stuck on a level, sometimes the game might ask you if you are okay. We'll let you in on a secret: if you press "No", you are given a free invincibility bubble!
